On a quiet road, while driving past a drainage pipe, we encountered a heartbreaking sight: a skeletal mother dog and her only surviving puppy, aimlessly wandering under the drainage. They were emaciated, their bodies reduced to skin and bones. We hurriedly parked the car and gave them a loaf of bread, but the starving puppy could only manage to eat half of it. The mother was in equally dire condition, appearing weak and hopeless.
Desperate to help, we scoured the area for other puppies but found no trace of them. We feared the worst—they had likely starved to death. Tears welled up in our eyes, and it felt as if even the mother dog was crying. Despite her suffering, she accepted our help, and we knew we had to act fast.
