At the Big Cat Rescue sanctuary in Tampa, Florida, lives a small but mighty bobcat named Summer. Nicknamed the “forever kitten,” Summer is adored by many for her bright eyes and tiny stature. Summer’s story began with a dramatic and unlikely rescue. At just 2 1/2 weeks old, the tiny bobcat was accidentally scooped up by workers at a demolition site. The unsuspecting workers had not seen the small kitten and only realized she was in the excavator bucket after the fact.
