Lloyd opened his eyes, only to be greeted by the sight of several excited maids. Their eager expressions, however, triggered something deep within him: a natural reaction to cast a fireball. Just before he could act on this impulse, he realized something strange—his hands were tiny. The realization threw him off balance, causing his fireball to miss its target and instead blow a hole through the castle walls.
Fortunately, the kingdom outside was too busy celebrating the birth of the new prince to notice the blast, mistaking it for part of the fireworks display. As for the maids, they briefly considered changing careers after the close call with incineration.
Time passed, and though the maids decided to stay, they all made sure to update their life insurance policies.
