Takumen, a socially awkward and sweaty gamer, suddenly finds himself transported into the world of his favorite game, "Cross Reverie." To his surprise, he becomes the demon lord Diablo, renowned for his immense power and attractiveness. His initial excitement turns to confusion when he discovers he is accompanied by two summoning ritual participants: Chro, an elf with notable assets, and Rem, a demi-human midget.
The ritual intended to summon a powerful ally but instead summoned Diablo himself. Though initially timid and antisocial, Diablo quickly asserts his authority, compelling Chro and Rem to join his harem. A magical collar appears around their necks due to Diablo’s anti-magic ring, which reflects spells cast on him. They all head to town to register as adventurers, where Diablo’s inability to understand the language causes complications.
