In the anime's opening, we meet Kanji Yakutani, a dedicated pharmacist working tirelessly in his molecular pharmacy laboratory. Driven by the tragic death of his sister from an incurable tumor, Yakutani is determined to advance the field of molecular pharmacy to cure diseases like the one that claimed his sister.
Yakutani's journey doesn't end there. He awakens in a new world, finding himself in the body of a young boy named Pharma de Medicis.
