A Madrid-based startup has designed the Chaise Longue Economy Seat, a double-decker plane seat that offers more legroom and the ability to recline to a 125° angle. The seat, prototype of which was initially made by Alejandro Núñez Vicente himself in 2021 using planks, provides more privacy for passengers and eliminates the problem of reclining etiquette since no one sits directly behind.
The firm claims that the seat has the possibility of accommodating more passengers and could fit any passenger class.
